back in the loop

I'm back in the loop after an absence of several months. I was and still am busy with other things but I'm making time for this as well as the other things which includes blogging on other sites about other things. I've been keeping up some with writing and have started painting again . . . weather permitting, lol . . . The only good place to paint is the back porch and when it's too cold . . . I did get some sketching done yesterday and so the new canvas is prepped . . . but there are a couple of other things to be finished first . . . .
A while back I watched a PBS show about Helvetica font. It was quite interesting. Font is a whole 'nother part of the art world, and interesting. I've created designs with font on Illustrator, including a birthday card for my cousin. I've also created logotypes. Fun stuff.
