Would you present your work at a CreativeSquat Pecha Kucha event?
Absolutely
About Me:
I'm 28 years old, married w/ 4 dogs, 3 cats, 2 mice and 1 fish. I LOVE ART! I love the colors and the peace I have when I'm painting and I love sharing God's Word through my artwork! My art speaks for itself and I'm excited to share it with others!
It was GOD who tempted the woman or was the SERPENT?.........Remenber HE said:.........."Of the TREE that is in the CENTER of the garden....thou shall not eat............because the day thou shall eat it......thou shall die.....tell a rebel kid...don't do this...for sure she will do it..............Juan
The simplicity and quiet power of your presentation still in son my mind. Thank you for participating at the Frisco event and I hope again catch-up with you on July 12th.
Welcome Laura to the site ...We are glad to have you with us ....Love the art style with the mix of religous content with abstract backgrounds ....I have a poem I think You will like from an artist....standpoint......
Just how to paint thy beauty: A perplexing thought to bestow.
The artist struggles from within
For God knows of thy precious beauty
A beauty mine eyes can only behold
yet God paints with a single stroke of his hand
I see you as I gaze upon his setting sun
And then again at the rise of one.
I see your radiance in the glow of a blue moon hung with the stars strung about
You shine among the shimmers of water as sunrays dance across
Amid the waves created by a mere wisp of God’s own breath.
He can so easily capture your essence!
He though of you while making the mountains
with Aspens bursting with a stint of yellow gold
I see the depth of your being as I scan the sky of blue
woven among the clouds floating….. so carefree
I feel your comfort as I walk beside a gentle stream
I can sit and dip my feet within the calming waters
As simple as it seems yet so enjoyable to me
and then brush my toes across the smooth stones
all made from the simple water’s flow
I smell your essence from the fragrance of a single rose
Then feel your gentleness as that of each petal
so soft and delicate to the touch,
realizing there is nothing like it in all the world.
Then gaze for hours at its design and complexity
trying to comprehend & behold its beauty.
For you see only God knows what I can see
Only God knows what beauty he has in store for me
I thank him daily for the gifts he has given
and then again for the little reminders he placed so just for me
to make me realize just what you mean
God is the true artist, the divine creator, the giver of life itself,
and the only artist who can capture your essence
I’m thankful that he has chosen to not be selfish
And shared with all to see, especially me
For I cannot even come so close
as to capture your presence, your very self,
not even what you are to me within.
But I can be thankful for the gift from above
To at least, for just a moment, share your beauty,
and be given a glimpse of you from God’s own paintings
I’m glad he had thoughts of you when he filled his brush.

And I am blessed to view his works
To be in awe of their elegance
To simply admire his artist touch.
