I'm gonna try to sell some of my original art over ebay. Anybody got any advice? The works I'll try to sell first are ink-on-Bristol board designs . . . some done in design class at TCC and some done later.

What is a Pecha Kucha Presentation?

The idea behind Pecha Kucha is to keep presentations concise, the interest level up and to have many presenters sharing their ideas within the course of one night. Therefore the 20x20 Pecha Kucha format was created: each presenter is allowed a slideshow of 20 images, each shown for 20 seconds. This results in a total presentation time of 6 minutes 40 seconds on a stage before the next presenter is up.

Request to Present Requirements

If you want to present your work at the next Creative Squat event, please join the CreativeSquat network and send an e-mail to Dean Odle, Organizer/Curator, megko@msn.com including the following information:

• Subject: CSDFW Request to Present for Event #___

• Name:

• Bio/Website (3-4 sentences):

• 20 jpeg Images of your work zipped with file name format DO_001.jpg, DO_002.jpg... (Except use your initials instead of mine "DO"). Keep each image file size less than 700KB and 1024pxX768px. Landscape is also prefered. No images at least 5 days before event then unfortunately, you will not be considered for the line-up.

• Anything else you want us to know about you or your work and presentation:

We will confirm you into the line-up as soon as possible. The organizers aim for a potent mix of both emerging and established talent. We also strive for an exciting mix of topics, disciplines, work, and a 70/30 mix of art and music. Basically, what were saying is the Curator has the freedom to select presenters to achieve their vision for the event and you may not be selected this time around. Please keep submitting your request until we get you in.
